Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, the Sheyenne Valley Community Foundation is proud to offer a range of grant opportunities to support local nonprofit organizations serving Barnes, Ransom, and Griggs County. Our commitment is to support the essential work carried out by nonprofit organizations in our community. If you have any questions or need additional information regarding these grant opportunities, please feel free to contact us. innovative microgrant

Grant funds are eligible to individuals or organizations to get their ideas stemming from The Longest Table into the community. We are looking for innovative events, projects, and programs that support a healthy and vibrant community.

We are currently not accepting applications.

community grant round

Our Community Grant Round is designed to address a wide range of community needs within five primary focus areas: Basic Human Needs, Education, Arts, Community Building, and Rural First Responders. We invite local nonprofits to apply for grants through this program.  Application deadline was July 19th, 2024.  We are currently not accepting applications.​

If your organization received funding through our 2024 Community Grant Round, please remember to submit the final report after completing your project. Final reports must be submitted before applying for next year's grant round.

This grant allows health and wellness programs in Barnes County the opportunity to apply for grant funds to provide low-income individuals the opportunity to participate in health and wellness programs.
